This black tea is made from fermented tea leaves.
Growing at a height of 900 - 1200 m above sea level on the slopes at the foot of Mount Kerinci near the Kerinci Seblat National Park in Sumatra, it receives plenty of sunshine almost all year round.
The tea is harvested and processed there under strict control, away from environmental pollution.
Due to its unique origin from the foot of the Kerinci volcano, our black tea has a tannin content of approx. 18% and offers a mild to strong tea taste - depending on the amount of tea you use. Tannins give the tea a tart taste and a red color similar to red wine. They are only released after a certain brewing time (more than two minutes). - Warm up a teacup.
